TOLERANCE DAY

advisory panel

tolerance day

The materials for Tolerance Day are built on a seven step method which will be played out in a day of lesson plans and celebrations – providing a safe space for exploration and dialogue;  problematising tolerance;  building confidence and resilience; exploring identity, rights and freedoms;  reasoning, reflecting and dialogue;  the power of the narrative; taking action.

A number of experts were kind enough to agree to be advisors to the programme, to ensure that the materials were consistent with the curriculum and provided a useful programme to teach tolerance in primary schools.
